Terms of use

The service

Reparlo is a speaking coach run by Nintai Dick in Douala, Cameroon. You record yourself speaking; Reparlo transcribes the audio, measures your delivery and body language, and writes feedback. By creating an account you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. One account per person, signed in with an email address you control. Keep your sign-in links to yourself, and revoke any device you no longer use from settings.

Free, with daily limits

Reparlo is free. To keep it that way, each account has daily limits, for example a number of full sessions and minutes of analysed audio per day. The current limits are shown in the app and may change. When the service's total AI spend for the day reaches its ceiling, new analyses pause for everyone until the next day. No payment details are ever requested.

Feedback, not a guarantee

Scores and notes are produced by software, including AI models, and can be wrong. They are practice feedback, not professional, medical, legal or hiring advice, and they do not promise any result in an interview, exam or meeting. The service is provided as it is and as available: it may change, be interrupted or stop, and we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors. Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows to confirm.

Using it fairly

• Record your own voice and body. Do not record other people without their consent, and do not upload someone else's speech as your own session.
• Do not try to get around the daily limits, for example with several accounts or automated sign-ups.
• Do not attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to send unlawful, hateful or harassing content through the context fields.
• Do not use the service to identify or track anyone.

Your recordings stay yours

You keep all rights to your recordings, transcripts and anything you type. You give us only the permission needed to process them to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy; that permission ends when you delete them. Nothing is used to train anything. The Reparlo name, design and software remain ours.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in settings; your data is deleted within 24 hours. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why where we can. If we shut the service down, we will give notice in the app and by email [TO CONFIRM: notice period before shutdown] ahead, so you can keep what is on your device.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon, with the courts of Douala competent to confirm, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer. If we change these terms, we update this page and its date and tell signed-in users in the app before the change takes effect.
